Rain Rain Go Away : Kernersville Child Photographer

Mother Nature was on my side on Friday evening.  I thought my husband was joking when he said it was pouring down on Main St in Kernersville since it was dry at our place, less than five miles from Harmon Park.  About two miles up from my house, it was sprinkling and I could tell there was a heavy downpour closer to town.  Thank goodness the rain cleared so I could meet these three super cute kiddos and their parents.   They were so fun to photograph.  The two girls being the sweetest models and their brother being so funny and full of energy like most two year old boys.

Thanks R Family!  Enjoy your pictures!

Blue Skies: Harker Heights Family Photographer

I’ve never been so happy to see blue skies as I was on Sunday.  The past week has been nothing but scattered showers and thunderstorms so I was biting my nails as the session time approached.  An hour before the session, the bottom drops out.  I scurried to the computer to watch the radar, still debating on if we should cancel.  Right as I’m packing the car, the rain lets up.  As soon as I turned onto 40, all I could see is blue skies.  I totally squealed without excitement.

I’m so glad the threat of rain didn’t cause us to reschedule.  I met this family at Old Salem for extended family portraits.  How good looking are they?  I love the coordination in their outfits.  I always suggest picking three colors and coordinating the family around it- I love that they chose white, khaki, and pink.  The pink is a refreshing burst of color.

I love extended family shoots.  There is so many different dynamics and relationships that I love the capture.  I always get snap happy and end up with lots of images.  This session was no exception.

Love this family and/or these pictures?  Leave some love!  When this post gets 15 comments, the family gets a complimentary gift print.

A Cutie in a Tutu: Sanford Baby Photography

Even though it was crazy windy, it was beautiful weather for last weekend’s tutu mini sessions.  One of my little tutu cuties was my neice, Isabella.  At 10 months old, she was the perfect size to fit in the 6-9 month and the 12 month tutus by Chic Tutus.

I cannot rave enough about how cute these tutus are.  The waist is elastic so they fit perfect.  Melanie and Leandra find the cutest little accessories to add the perfect finishing touch.  You can see the flower on the purple tutu.  The pink tutu had a bow made of ribbon.  A matching headband brings it all together.  You can also add leggings or a little jacket to make a complete outfit.
