Session Info

A session with Katie Smith Photography is more than just a photo shoot. It’s an experience.  All my sessions begin with a consultation.  This very important meeting helps me get to know you and your family.   At the consultation, we’ll go over possible locations, outfits, and any question you might have.  We’ll also discuss what you have in mind for your images.  By knowing whether you want an album, a wall gallery, or just a few prints for the grandparents, I can create the perfect session to fulfill that wish.

Once we’ve decided on a session date and location, I’ll be eagerly counting down the days until the photo session.  My sessions are always laid back and fun.  I want you to come ready to relax and play with your children.  My style is a mix of portraiture and lifestyle photography so we’ll constantly be changing it up from posing to just acting natural.  If you have your own ideas for poses, let me know and I’ll try to make it happen.

Two weeks after the session, we’ll meet again to review your images.  Bring your tissues because you might cry tears of joy.  We’ll walk through each image and go over your needs.  I’ll help you custom design the perfect album or wall gallery.  I’ll even use images of your own home to show you exactly what sizes would look perfect over your couch or fireplace.  You’ll be able to pick your products up within two weeks.  If you order over $2000, I’ll personally deliver your products to your home.

Investment

Custom family portaiture is an investment into the memories for your family.  I only use professional-grade equipment and labs to ensure top quality products.

All sessions require a $150 creative fee at time of booking.  This fee holds your session date and covers my time and talent.  It does not include any prints or products.  I serve Copperas Cove, Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, Belton, and Temple.  Travel fee applies when outside of this area.

I currently do not offer wedding photographer services as the lead photographer.  I am happy to serve as a second shooter if you are in need of one.
