1. Session Planning Appointment
We’ll plan the session around your senior’s personality—what they love, how they want to be seen, and where they feel most themselves. Outfits, locations, and final products are all covered here.
2. The Photo Session
No stiff posing or forced smiles. Just a relaxed, fun experience where your teen can show up as they are. Multiple outfits, no time limit, and plenty of room for creativity.
3. Ordering Appointment
View the edited portraits and pick your favorites. I’ll help you choose the best ways to display them—wall art, albums, or digital files.
4. Delivery
Digital files arrive in a week. Printed artwork arrives within three. Everything is delivered right to your door.

At Katie Smith Photography, the experience is designed with finished artwork in mind from the beginning. That might mean a framed portrait for your wall, a custom album filled with your favorite images, a gallery-wrapped canvas, or printed gifts for the people who love your family most.
After your session, you’ll review your images and choose the collection that best fits how you want to enjoy them.
Signature Collections begin at $1,499 and range up to $3,999.
These full portrait sessions are best for families, seniors, pets, and headshots who want a more customized experience with planning, a relaxed session, and guidance choosing finished artwork.
Mini Session Collections range from $199 to $999.
Mini sessions are shorter, simpler sessions offered at the studio on select dates throughout the year. They’re a great fit for seasonal portraits, quick updates, or a smaller set of favorite images.
Each collection includes digital images for sharing and safekeeping, but the focus is on helping you create something lasting from your portraits. Whether you choose wall art, an album, or a few meaningful prints, you’ll have options that fit the way you want to enjoy your images.
The VIP Club and Yearbook Program
Senior year moves fast. The big moments don’t stop with one photo session. That’s why every senior who books a portrait session becomes part of the VIP Club.
VIPs receive:
- No studio session fees for follow-up shoots throughout senior year
- The option to build an album over time, adding images from each milestone—cap and gown, prom, college reveal, and more!
When graduation comes, you’ll have an album filled with memories from the whole year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Most families book between spring and early fall before the school year gets too packed. Golden hour and fall color sessions go quickly, so booking 6 to 8 weeks ahead is best.
That’s totally okay. A lot of teens feel unsure at first. I’m great at helping them feel comfortable and confident. No fake smiles here—just real ones.
Absolutely. The more personal, the better. If it matters to your teen, bring it. And if you’re drawing blanks, I have a handy list of props that can make your teen’s session unique.
