October evenings bring softer light, warmer color, and a really flattering look for outdoor portraits.
For October, I’m opening just five Thursday evening Simplicity Sessions for families who want updated portraits without giving up a weekend.
These are full 45-minute sessions with your choice of the KSP meadow or one of two nearby pocket parks.
And yes, pets are welcome.
The Offer
Book one of the five October Thursday evening sessions and purchase any collection, or spend $549+ à la carte, and you’ll receive:
An additional $175 artwork credit
That credit is added to whatever artwork credit is already included in your collection.
So if you choose the Moment Collection, your usual $250 artwork credit becomes $425 toward printed artwork. That is enough credit for a 16×20 canvas of one of your favorite portraits from the session.
A Simple Fall Portrait Experience
Your 45-minute Simplicity Session is designed to give you a variety of natural expressions and polished portraits without taking over your whole evening.
You’ll choose from:
- The Katie Smith Photography meadow
- First Street Pocket Park
- Fifth Street Pocket Park
All three locations are chosen for beautiful evening light and an easy, relaxed session.
I’ll guide you through the whole thing, so you do not have to worry about posing or wondering what to do next.
Collections
Collections begin at $549 and include digital images plus artwork credit.
Choose whichever collection fits what you want from the session, and the $175 bonus artwork credit will be added on top.
Prefer to order à la carte? Spend $549 or more and you’ll still receive the bonus.

Why Thursday Evenings?
Because October weekends fill up fast- football, festivals, pumpkin patches, and trunk or treats.
These sessions give you a chance to update your portraits during one of the prettiest times of year without sacrificing a Friday night or Saturday.
And with only one session per evening available, I can schedule each session around that gorgeous golden-hour light.
