Recently, I was honored to take part in the First Annual Stories of Autism Awareness Weekend. Well, technically we were to take part of the weekend but thunderstorms that morning caused us to reschedule two weeks later. It was a gorgeous Saturday when I finally got to meet S and C and their mom. We took a short walk around Triad Park, took some pictures, and chatted it up before everyone’s stomachs were growling. Since it was morning, we were able to wrap it up before breakfast time was over. S got to have pancakes and I grabbed some Bojangles on the way home. There’s no way to start a day better than a good session and a yummy breakfast!
